UCSF's First Chief Genomics OfficerThe IHG is delighted to welcome Aleksandar Rajkovic, MD, PhD, UCSF’s first-ever Chief Genomics Officer. With a joint appointment as UCSF professor in the departments of Pathology and of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences, Dr. Rajkovic serves as the Stuart Lindsay Distinguished Professor in Experimental Pathology.

Previously at the Magee-Womens Research Institute at UPMC, Dr. Rajkovic is a leading clinical geneticist and research scientist specializing in the genetics of fertility and reproduction.

At UCSF he will direct efforts to centralize UCSF’s genomics services across the health system, easing the way for UCSF physicians to obtain access to genetic testing for their patients. He will work closely with colleagues in Pediatrics, Obstetrics, Internal Medicine at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital in San Francisco and Oakland, as well as the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center.
