We invite you to join us in advancing the mission of the Institute for Human Genetics. Your support helps us strengthen human genetics research and education, and translate these discoveries into improved understanding of human disease and patient care.
There are many meaningful ways to support the IHG. You may direct your gift to one of three existing funds listed below, or, for larger or more targeted contributions—including endowments, bequests, memorial or tribute gifts, event sponsorships, or transfers of securities or property—please contact Bo O’Hare, the IHG representative at the UCSF Foundation, at (415) 476-3947.
Previous philanthropic support has enabled the establishment of:
- An endowed professorship in human genetics
- A fellowship in human genetics
- A technology fund supporting state-of-the-art core infrastructure
- An endowed fund supporting the IHG Exploratory Grants Program, which fosters innovative internal research
Gifts of all sizes make a meaningful difference, expanding our ability to support faculty, trainees, and research programs across human genetics. We are deeply grateful for your generosity.
Please consider making a tax-deductible donation.
