The UCSF IHG, CATexternal site (opens in a new window), and CoLabsexternal site (opens in a new window) co-host the technology seminar series, where you can stay informed about the latest technological advancements from various partners in the industry.

How can Illumina’s single-cell sequencing and spatial transcriptomics technologies help researchers overcome experimental limitations and advance their research? Join us for a Lunch & Learn with Illumina to explore flexible, scalable solutions for single-cell RNA sequencing and discover innovative approaches to whole-transcriptome spatial analysis.

The session will highlight how Illumina Single Cell Prep addresses key challenges in single-cell sequencing, including inflexible workflows, limited scalability, and the high costs associated with instrumentation and consumables. Attendees will learn how Illumina’s preparation methods support experiments ranging from hundreds to millions of cells through a consistent, scalable workflow. The presentation will also introduce Illumina’s instrument-free whole-transcriptome spatial technology, featuring a 50 × 15 mm capture area, single-cell resolution, and high sensitivity.

Angie Dorigatti, PhD, Senior Sales Specialist at Illumina, will share insights into Illumina’s latest single-cell and spatial transcriptomics technologies and discuss how these solutions can support a range of research applications.

The session will conclude with an opportunity for questions and discussion about single-cell workflows, spatial transcriptomics, and how Illumina’s technologies can help researchers advance their experimental goals.
